Gony Zubizarreta is a usual suspect when it comes to strolling around Ericeira’s coast. Since long ago the 28 years-old surfer from Buenos Aires, Argentina, chose the waves of the World Surfing Reserve to practice and enjoy the best of Europe’s tubes, after growing up in Vigo, Northern Spain.
“So Last Year” revisits Zubizarreta’s best sessions last year. The majority of the frames were captured in Ericeira – Cave and Coxos are hotly highlighted, being the latter his favourite wave in the world -, but there are sections featuring Canary Islands and Northern Spain.
Barrels, aerials, snaps, it’s all in in a video summing up 2013’s most remarkable sessions of Zubizarreta in just a couple of minutes.
