This photograph was taken at the end of a day when part of Ericeira was plunged into darkness, for more or less time, due to a failure in the electrical system.
Instead of staying at home, without electricity, Elsa Martins Magro chose to take a walk through the streets of the village, amidst the darkness of areas without lighting (public or private) and the brightness of areas that maintained or recovered energy.
The result was this: an image full of beauty and charm that could be a watercolor covering the beaches of Algodio and Pescadores, Ribas, the houses and part of Furnas.
