The schedule for the marches in Mafra offers several opportunities to attend. After a few years of interruption, the popular marches are back in various parishes across the municipality.
The groups that accepted the invitation by the municipality are the Cultural Association “Amigos em Marcha” representing Mafra’s Parish, the Sports, Recreation, and Cultural Group “Os Unidos” from Santo Isidoro, the Union of the Parish of Venda do Pinheiro and Santo Estêvão das Galés, the Ericeira Parish Council as well as the Milharado Parish Council.

Organized and funded by the municipality of Mafra, the marches are celebrations to preserve, spread and enhance history, and traditional ways of life for both younger residents and visitors.
The traditional marches will take place on the following dates and locations:
