Mex, a young artist from Mafra, wrote one of the inspirational chapters of his musical journey with the release of “Histórias,” his first single.
It was around the age of 16 that Gualter (his given name) fell in love with hip-hop culture. At 18, he began writing his own lyrics, drawing inspiration from artists like Dillaz, Slow J, Toy Toy and T-Rex. Recently, he opened the night featuring King Bigs during the inaugural party of the partnership between Bang Venue in Torres Vedras and AZUL – Ericeira Mag.
Determined and imbued with the personal experiences he carries with him, Mex weaves his rhymes with the skill of a contemporary chronicler, delving into the intricate layers of everyday life and the ups and downs of his experiences.
