Have you read the latest edition of the Portuguese Vogue? The iconic fashion and lifestyle magazine highlighted Ericeira in an article of its August edition, underlining “the ancient village, whitewashed, with strokes of blue and the smell of the sea filling the air,” in contrast to the new Ericeira, with much more surf and nightlife, a modernity that does not ignore the traditions that have made it a place with a very strong identity.
This article, written by Irina Chitas, summarizes the coordinates for a kind of summer tour, beginning as follows: “Hands on the ground and head in the air, this is the summer of our content where feeling is the motto. All you have to do is to hit the road and Vogue will tell you where to stop.”
The article contains several references to Ericeira, namely to Restaurante Sul, the “monumental, yet cozy, café” of the renewed Tourism Office and the “fascinating interactive table” of the World Surfing Reserve Interpretation Center, the only one existing in Europe.
A prestigious emphasis on Ericeira, which has so much to offer to those who visit it. If Vogue likes it, who won’t?
