The Bodyboard Fest, regional bodyboarding circuit of the Lisbon area, ended two weeks ago with the grand finals taking place in Ericeira, between the beaches of Empa and Sul. The event crowned the 2013 champions, after a long waiting period for the occurence of adequate conditions for the competition.
Guilherme Guerra, on the Open, Mauro Bandeiras, on under-18, Gonçalo Sousa, on under-14, and Madalena Guerra, on Women’s, were the winners of a circuit that took place in Santa Cruz, Praia Grande and Carcavelos, before finishing on the World Surfing Reserve.
The organization of the Bodyboard Fest, by its representative João Imaginário, has provided AZUL several photographs of the events throughout the competition, which here are also complemented by AZUL’s own pictures. A reminder of the best moments of 2013’s circuit, while we await the competition’s return.
