The Mafra Municipal Council has decided to broaden the opening hours of the gastronomic and drinking houses in Ericeira, Foz do Lizandro, Ribeira d’Ilhas and S. Lourenço until 3 a.m., upon request of the interested parties.
This time extension, which has the objective of encouraging and boosting the local economy, mainly in seasons of a larger touristic presence, began on the 4th of April. Until the 31st of May this extension is applicable to the dawns of Saturdays, Sundays and holidays, but from the 1st of June to the 30th of September, on behalf of the bathing season, this period can be put in place for every day of the week.
