Recently, Sapo Viagens compiled a list of the best beaches in Portugal for surfing this Summer. Among the five selected destinations, Ribeira d’Ilhas beach appears at the top, heading the list.
According to the International Surfing Association (ISA), Portugal is among the 10 countries with the highest number of surfers, benefiting from around 900 kilometers of coastline offering waves throughout the year. Among the various Portuguese beaches that attract surfers, Ribeira d’Ilhas stands out as one of the mandatory stops for national and international surfers.
