This year Despomar launched the “Endure the Cycle” project, banner under which the ESG (environmental, social and governance) initiatives of the group based in Ericeira are developed. Circularity, transparency and commitment to the planet and society are the values that guide this Portuguese retail and distribution company, closely linked to surfing and skateboarding.
This video summarizes the initiative that arose from the need to further strengthen a position inherent to the brand since its foundation, thus affirming it with the signing of the Charter of Principles of BCSD Portugal – Business Council for Sustainable Development.
“Endure the Cycle” is thus based on an environmental aspect combined with sustainable economic growth (committing to the reduction, reuse, recovery and recycling of materials) and a social aspect that promotes a more sustainable and inclusive society, acting along with other similar initiatives.
