The Municipality of Mafra (CMM) started the requalification works of the Beatriz Costa auditorium. According to CMM, the works are expected to last eight months, implying an investment of 949 thousand euros.

The decision to intervene in the auditorium was due to the need to adapt the building to accessibility and handicapped mobility standards, in addition to meeting contemporary requirements with regard to safety and accessibility for cultural activities.
