The first stage of the Ericeira Surf Clube Bodyboarding Circuit, presented by Ericeira Surf & Skate, took place on December at Empa beach.
There were 73 registered athletes, from every corner of the country, in a race that had around 32 heats and where quality maneuvers reigned supreme alongside with the versatility and excellence of the powerful lefthanders of Pedra Branca, one of the most iconic waves of the Ericeira World Surfing Reserve.
Bruno Dias, Mafalda Martinho, Rui Ferreira, Francisco Botelho and Nicolas Rosner were the winners of the various categories presented at this stage – Open, Women, Masters, Under 18 and Dropknee – and the awards ceremony was one of the most beautiful and effusive ever seen in Ericeira.
