The most awaited Festival in Ericeira is back in 2022, after two editions canceled due to the covid 19 pandemic. Some names on the 1st and 2nd of July poster had already been confirmed, and now there’s another confirmation: Trippie Redd will be part of the artists who will perform in the biggest edition of Sumol Summer Fest ever.
Born in 1999, in Ohio, the American rapper’s career began during his teenage years and has been consolidated over time. Trippie Redd was already viral thanks to songs compilations such as Beast Mode or Awakening My Inner Beast, but his work became more relevant with the release of his first album “A Love Letter to You” in 2017 and his single “Dark Knight Dummo,” featuring Travis Scott, who placed Trippie Redd at the top of Billboard’s Hot 100 chart.

Right now, Michael Lamar White IV is one of the most recognizable faces in rap to come out of SoundCloud. Trippie Redd features sounds inspired by names like T-Pain, Gucci Mane and Lil Wayne, Kiss and Marilyn Manson, including elements of emotional rap. The festival and the artist promise to bring all this to Sumol Summer Fest 2022!
Tickets are already on sale, and with a special price until December 31. For festival-goers who had already guaranteed their entry for 2020 or 2021, tickets will be valid for next year’s edition, without the need to exchange or get a new ticket.
