As it is already happening in Ericeira and Mafra, Venda do Pinheiro will be the third location in the Municipality of Mafra to have a business incubator, which will be named Venda Business Factory.
Venda Business Factory will be part of the wider rehabilitation project of Quinta de Santo António, promoted by the Municipality of Mafra.

Considering the social relevance and strategic location of Quinta de Santo António, the City Council acquired the building – after 15 years with no use and abandoned – and prepared a wide-ranging rehabilitation project with the aim of making it a multidisciplinary complex, integrating diverse public services and spaces for culture.
Recently, the Ecological and Intermodal Park was built on land that was previously part of Quinta de Santo António and, at this moment, the restoration of the chapel has been completed. The building rehabilitation project includes the future installation and centralisation of important public services, namely: citizen’s bureau, União de Freguesias headquarters, business incubator Venda Business Factory, youth space and auditorium.

With this extended intervention, Quinta de Santo António will achieve a privileged environment, with large green areas, close to schools and offering easy access to public transportation and car parking.
Aware of the importance of this civil and religious building for the community, the Council intends to make the complex the heart of Venda do Pinheiro’s social, economic, cultural and religious life.
