Suna, a Peruvian surfer, skater, environmentalist and video producer, was in Ericeira and produced a video guide with tips for surfing here – where to sleep and rent boards, for example.
The surfer rented a board (and advised a location and its appropriate price) and caught his first waves in Portugal (and in Europe), describing surfing here as a “luxury”.
With point of view footage of surf sessions on the emblematic beach of Ribeira d’Ilhas and Coxos, it’s impossible not to be delighted with the only World Surfing Reserve in Europe. And the sunset in the fishing village seldom disappoints: Foz do Lizandro was the place chosen by Suna for the late afternoon.
