In the current lockdown period imposed by the Covid-19 pandemic, surfing was not banned at national level, since the right to individual outdoor sports was enshrined in the present State of Emergency.
However, since mid-January, maritime conditions in Ericeira have not been suitable for wave runners… Basically, you can see boards only at Praia dos Pescadores.
In order to relive memories of good conditions and hope that things get better (regarding the waves and, mainly, the public health crisis) we publish a 2012 video, in which surfers and bodyboarders enjoy Pedra Branca at its best, with hollow and long tubes.
