In the last decade the growth in the tourism sector has been very high in Portugal, and in the Lisbon region in particular. A reality that this video of the week intends to perpetuate.
At the end of 2015, Turismo de Lisboa launched the video #ShareLisboa with the intention of showing the best of Portugal’s capital and the tourist region that includes Mafra. In just over five minutes, Fado can be felt and you can be walked through typical Lisbon neighborhoods, but there is also enough room for emblematic icons of Ericeira and Mafra.
The village of the sea urchins is represented by the main “visitors room” of the World Surfing Reserve: Henrique Pyrrait, current surf champion in the Open category of Ericeira Surf Clube, takes action on the waves of Ribeira d’Ilhas; Mafra also deserves special attention by the incomparable National Palace, that celebrates its tercentenary at the moment.
