At a time of World Cup of football in Brazil the “canarinho” country lives and breaths the king of the sports. And Tiago ‘Saca’ Pires wasn’t indifferent to it while travelling through Rio de Janeiro for the Brazilian Leg of the ASP World Tour.
What the Ericeira’s surfer did was so much more than dropping waves taking some time to enjoy all of football’s emotions, an almost religion in the South American country.
The video is from Go-S.TV, the usual production crew following Tiago Pires, and pictures the amazing landscapes of “Cidade Maravilhosa” (The Wonder City), the thrill of the Brazilian people in a football stadium and the waves of that piece of coastal land.
‘Saca’ is now in Africa do Sul to compete in the second prime event of the WQS Tour, the Mr. Price Pro Ballito. From there he’ll go straight to the 6th stage of the ASP World Your, which will be held in Jeffrey’s Bay, also in that country, between 10 and 21 of July.
