The Portuguese Surf Film Festival (PSFF), which will hold its 9th edition between the July 29 and the August 2, this year will take place in a digital format due to the current pandemic of the new Coronavirus, responsible for the Covid-19 disease.

The movies will be live streamed

This way, in 2020, the name “PSFF 2020 Digital Live” is adopted exclusively for the festival that brings the best of international surf cinema to Europe’s only World Surfing Reserve and the second to be consecrated worldwide.

The movies will be live streamed, and they will only be available during the event. None of the films will be available on-demand, either before or after the specific session in which it is scheduled, just like in the original version of the event.

The program, the official selection of the films and other initiatives that the festival is currently preparing will be made known in the coming weeks and in anticipation of the official dates, which have also undergone an adaptation.

The event celebrates the 9th consecutive edition this year and continues with the support of the Municipality of Mafra, which is a sponsor and co-producer of the Festival. The organization is Mind Act.
