According to the Portuguese digital newspaper, the hot dogs of the moment are available at The Capsule Cafe, located on the emblematic Rua da Fonte do Cabo, which welcomes its customers with the typical sophistication of a restaurant that bets on neo bistro cuisine.

The space of the Ukrainian couple Tanya and Sasha, who moved to Portugal in 2018, surrendered to local ingredients and has little of the country of origin. During this time, they established their business in Ericeira, and it is worth noting that all kind of dogs are welcome at this establishment, including furry ones!
Here, the hot dog is reinvented and inspired by Ericeira, using typical elements and presenting dishes created from the finest ingredients. In the selection of dumplings, you can find crab with apple and matcha yogurt, cod, potatoes and caviar, as well as shrimp, truffle and mousse. However, it does not stop there!
The famous hot dogs are inspired by the village where the sea is bluer and open the menu with creative choices such as crab hot dog, octopus and even the very Portuguese pork chop.
If sandwiches fit more your taste, these are also influenced by the flavors of the sea, with very original mixtures. From foie gras with apple, mushrooms and shrimp bread, through tuna with chili mayonnaise, all the way to padron peppers marinated with pickles and shrimp bread. To top it off, you can try all kinds of dishes made by guest chefs at themed dinners that take place once a month at The Capsule Cafe.
