The Portuguese Surf Film Festival (PSFF) celebrates its 12th edition with a selection of remarkable films for its 2023 edition. The Festival is back to Casa da Cultura Jaime Lobo e Silva, in Ericeira, with the opening on July 21st, 6 pm, followed by the opening of the exhibition “Ocean Art”.
The kickoff will be today, July 13th, with a première at Boardriders at 6 pm.
The TAAG Awards will grant double tickets from Portugal to a surfing destination on the African continent
This year PSFF presents 48 films from all over the world — the best of international surf cinema, with captivating stories of those who push boundaries in stunning locations.
Each night of the Festival will have two film screenings, at 8:30 pm and 10:30 pm. On July 22nd and 23rd an extra free session will be provided, at 7 pm, under the themes ‘New Talents’ and ‘Kids & Surf’. Not to be missed are the special sessions ‘Women in Surf Films’ on July 26th and the Beach Session in Ribeira d’Ilhas, on July 29th.
This year the Festival will award, in addition to the ‘Short Film Award’, the ‘Best Film Award’ and ‘Audience Award’, the ‘Awards by TAAG, Transportes Aéreos de Angola’, in its closing session on July 30th. The TAAG Awards will grant double tickets from Portugal to each one of the winners to a surfing destination on the African continent.
