The Municipality of Mafra recently announced the building of a new urban park with leisure and sport areas in the North of Ericeira, next to Estrada do Rego.
Framed in a global strategy of urban and landscape requalification, this project contemplates the implementation of a football field for five (an old request of the local population, since a similar space disappeared with the requalification of Parque de Santa Marta) and a space for adventure sports, with a climbing wall and slide equipment.

The park will also include resting areas, with ample garden spaces, with the planting of 25 trees and 822 different shrubs.
Parque do Rego will be inserted in an space that has already been intervened and includes an intergenerational park.
