From last June 3 to 24, the Municipality of Mafra hosts the 7th edition of the “Filipe de Sousa” Music Festival, an initiative that promises to once again delight the public with a diversified and high quality programme.
Over the course of six concerts, respected artists and emerging talents come together to honor Filipe de Sousa, an illustrious local pianist, composer and a prestigious figure in Portuguese musicology. All shows start at 9:30 pm, providing a unique musical experience for the public.

The inaugural concert took place on Saturday, June 3rd, at the South Tower of the Royal Building of Mafra.
The remaining concerts take place in Mafra, at Jardim do Cerco (10th) and at the South Tower (17th), and in Ericeira, at Casa da Cultura Jaime Lobo e Silva – 11th and 18th.
Tickets are available on the website www.ticketline.pt or at the venue of the show, one hour before its start. Ticket prices are 3 euros for local residents and those under 23 years of age and 5 euros for the general public.
Mafra Music Festival “Filipe de Sousa” is organized by the Mafra City Council and Jorge Álvares Foundation, with the executive production of the producer Décima Colina and the artistic direction of Adriano Jordão, also with the support of the National Palace of Mafra.
