On May 22,  the European Conference “How can sport benefit from European Funds?” will take place at Casa de Cultura Jaime Lobo e Silva

This event aims to train Sports Agents on ways to access European funding.

the initiative is open to the entire ESC innovation community and entrepreneurial ecosystem

The conference takes place within the scope of the Share Initiative platform, launched by the European Commission in 2018 and whose main goal is to raise awareness of the role of Sports and, inherently, of physical activity in active regional and local development, also promoting among the rest of the social, economic and knowledge ecosystem, both public and private, that this role can be properly taken into account as part of policy and investment decision-making at European, national and regional levels.

Within the scope of this initiative, several training activities will be organized in Europe with the aim of expanding the knowledge of sports agents and their network of stakeholders in accessing European cohesion policy funds that are not originally intended for the financing of Sports.

The event’s program is available here.

You can apply (free but mandatory) here. This initiative is open to the entire ESC innovation community and entrepreneurial ecosystem with interests in this topic: clubs, municipalities, universities, companies, NGOs and citizens.
