Ericeira Surf Clube (ESC) has released its event calendar for 2026, already starting this upcoming weekend.
With its diverse schedule of competitions and events, Ericeira Surf Clube aims to enhance the sporting and social dynamics of the region. Particular emphasis will be placed on promoting young talents and involving the local population.

The plan has been developed by comparing with various national and international calendars and has also been integrated into the schedule of the Ericeira Surf City Presidency within the International World Surf Cities Network.
The first event will be held this weekend, on April 18 and 19, as the first stage of the Central Surf Regional Circuit (Circuito Regional de Surf do Centro) will take place at Ribeira d’Ilhas beach.
This championship will be followed by the Bodyboarding Circuit Science Ericeira from April 25 to 26.
According to Miguel Barata de Almeida, president of the Ericeira Surf Clube, 2026 is expected to be “once again a challenging year”.
Overall, the ESC calendar offers an exciting outlook on a range of competitions across different performance levels and generations.
