Perusing the international press, blogs and tourism websites, one can only foresee how popular Portugal and Ericeira are nowadays. This time the San Francisco Globe, followed on Facebook by 1.2 million people, chose this Portuguese village as one of the most quaint small towns in the world that ought to be visited before becoming a mainstream tourism destination.
Illustrating this selection is a gorgeous image of praia dos Pescadores, at the center of the village, coming next to places like Ha Long Bay (Vietnam), Putre (Chile) ou Shirakawa (Japan). As for Europe, the publication highlighted Dinan (France), Reine (Norway) and Juzcar (Spain), this last one know as the Smurfs’ Village.
The complete set of destinations that caught the eye of San Francisco Globe’s is here.
