On September 4, Loïs da Palma (a singer and songwriter with Portuguese-Dutch roots, based in Ericeira) released her new single, “All The Things.” According to the artist, “this song is very special to me, as it was written while watching the ocean from my kitchen window.”
“All The Things” explores feelings of anxiety and loneliness but also finds moments of tranquility in life’s small details. These contrasts are reflected in both the track’s introduction and ending, as well as in the synths woven throughout the melody. “I believe many people may identify themselves with these emotions and find comfort in the song,” says Loïs.
At 26, the singer composes in Ericeira, which she considers her inspiring muse. Blending indie-pop and folk-pop with hip-hop influences, her songs capture deep emotions, nostalgic thoughts, and are strongly influenced by the sea. Listen to this captivating new song here.
