The Ericeira Music Academy (Academia de Música da Ericeira or AME), which has been operating since the creation of the philharmonic band as a way of preparing the band’s musicians, recently began to also receive students from all over.
This musical Academy resulted from a restructuring carried out by the current Coordination and Pedagogical Direction of Ericeira’s Cultural Philharmonic Association (Associação Cultural Filarmónica Ericeira – AFCE).
AME comes from the former Music School of Ericeira’s Cultural Philharmonic, whose main goals are training in the music field, artistic awareness and the inclusion of young people in society.
