SurfinPortugal, the portuguese company that offers ‘hippie vans’ for surftrips between Peniche and Sagres, has launched an app for smartphones which delivers informations on the best surfing spots in Portugal.
This app, 100% free and available on iPhone, iPad and Android-based smartphones, is a guide to whose who want to hit the road on a trip looking for the best waves. SurfinPortugal shows the location of the best spots and their features, with a total 180 places in regions such as Ericeira, Peniche, Sintra, Cascais, Lisboa, Porto Covo, Vila Nova de Milfontes, Aljezur and Sagres.
The app also connects automatically to Google Maps to deliver directions to more than 90 beaches and services spotted by the software. Alongside SurfinPortugal’s activity it is possible, through the app, to book the company’s vans for the surftrips.
To download the app, just go to the App Store (iOS), Google Play Store (Android) or the company’s website www.surfinportugal.pt.
