South Beach, or “Baleia” (Whale). Geographically, it is the most southern beach in the village; and legend says that a whale of mythical proportions would’ve come ashore near to the current Vila Galé Hotel.
It’s a place of traditions, families and generations, a landscape for all seasons. Whether it’s in the winter‘s quietude or in the summer’s hustle, here there’s always room to reflect and contemplate… Even if one ought to wait for the serenity that comes along with the last Sun rays of the arvo.
