Ericeira’s entrepreneurial ecosystem is looking for bold ideas, innovative businesses and smart solutions.
At the networking event “Startups by the Sea” by Phira Ventures on April 15, founders will have the opportunity to present their vision at Breakpoint Ericeira. The first-ever pitch event will unite emerging entrepreneurs with experienced operators and investors.

Starting at 7 p.m., early-stage founders will learn what it takes to build a company in Portugal and discuss ideas with the other attendees. Afterwards, 8 to 10 by application selected companies will present their pitches in two rounds.
The event is supposed to shape the local startup ecosystem in Ericeira, as there is a growing entrepreneurial community.
As a judging panel, the experts will challenge assumptions, stress-test ideas, and ask sharp questions to give a focused feedback and advice.
In the end, one of the participants is able to win a minimum of 10.000 Euros investment at a minimum valuation of 100.000 Euros. After the pitch competition is over, the organizers will facilitate follow-up contacts with interested investors and provide ongoing support through their startup network.
