The lack of battery on mobile phones is one of the most pressing issues for festival-goers. Now, Last Call, a company based in Ericeira – incubated in the respective Business Factory – and specializing in charging services for electronic devices through a powerbank rental system, guarantees 100% energy at three Música no Coração Summer festivals: Sumol Summer Fest (July 5th and 6th, Costa da Caparica), Super Bock Super Rock (July 18th, 19th, and 20th, Meco, Sesimbra), and Sudoeste, taking place from August 7th to 10th in Zambujeira do Mar.
Ensuring connectivity and providing greater freedom to festival-goers is the aim of this partnership between Música no Coração, the leading music festival organizer in the country, and Last Call, a pioneering Portuguese startup in personal electronic device charging services through a powerbank rental system. This system frees users from the dependency on traditional outlets or fixed charging stations, offering the convenience of on-the-go charging.
powerbank rental stations will be distributed in the food courts of the festivals
A dead battery represents one of the worst nightmares for a festival-goer. It not only prevents them from capturing images of their best moments, saving the contact of a newfound love, or connecting with friends, but also makes them feel that their experience was not fully lived.
Música no Coração, in addition to being the first major national brand to bet on Last Call’s solutions and sharing the principle that the customer experience must be exceptional, sees in this partnership the right opportunity to, through technology and innovation, enhance the quality of the services and infrastructure offered to its audience.
“We know that every concert, every festival moment, generates extraordinary emotions and events that translate into lifelong memories. Therefore, we trust Last Call to make the experience even more qualitative. We want our audience, all those who have music in their hearts, to have 100% fun, without the frequent inconveniences of a simple lack of phone battery,” says Mariana Montez, Operations Director of Música no Coração.
Several Last Call powerbank rental stations will be distributed in the food courts of the festivals, where users can unlock a powerbank in seconds with a simple touch of a bank card. They can immediately charge their smartphone on the go, anywhere on the festival grounds. The rented powerbank can be returned during the festival or later at another Last Call station, simply by choosing the most convenient location on the map.
Freedom is one of Last Call’s core values, which is why it invests in uninterrupted connectivity and independence in digital life. It liberates users from the anxiety of having their plans ruined by a dead battery, allowing them to live carefree during moments of fun, travel, work, leisure, or just a normal day out.
by the end of 2026, Last Call plans to expand its network to a total of 1.000 rental stations
Last Call currently has stations installed in key areas of central Lisbon, Mafra, Ericeira, Torres Vedras, and Costa da Caparica, and plans to expand its network across the country to a total of 1,000 rental stations by the end of 2026.
