Both Kelly Slater and Coxos need no introduction: he is the record holder of world titles (11 in total) in sufing, a sport that defined him as a king; Coxos is the “Queen” of the Portuguese waves and one of the best globally.
Slater was recently in our country, and after being eliminated from the Meo Rip Curl Pro Portugal (in Peniche), he didn’t hesitate to visit Ericeira, where about two years ago he starred an historic and unforgettable session in Cave, really close to Coxos.
This time, the conditions weren’t so classic, yet the American surfer dazzled who was there to see the live action: between airs, tubes and rail work, he has shown the entire arsenal that keeps him on top of the elite at 44 years of age.
