In less than a minute, this clip, filmed and edited by Rodrigo Dray, shows why is Miguel Fortes still considered the “master of Coxos”. The sizable wave is surfed with grace under the pressure that distinguishes the best. Fortes comes by the frontside, drops slightly late but in complete control; and when he arrives the base of the wave, he pulls an elongated bottom turn which gently projects him to the barrel, of which he comes off completely dry. 10 out of 10.
