Ericeira is magical!
We can start a walk on a foggy day
and come back on a sunny day, perfect.
And all this is part of its unique charm.
The beaches of Ericeira blend this wild and
bitter beauty with the charm of a fable.
There is something very mystical about it.
With the high tide we have a scenario,
With the low tide I am Happiness.
It is wonderful to walk on the rocks,
upon a world that is often hidden
and that, on those occasions, is exposed right there
so it can be discovered.
And the puddles…
natural pools, large and small,
shells and pebbles that I collect with love.
It is a delight for those with children.
And they will tell me… the water is so cold!
And it is… it’s freezing!
But this sea wasn’t made for people who feel cold…
And I know, that I just soak the feet and the rest of the body
hurriedly… but even that I love!
And I already know the beaches here…
by the thickness of the sand, such is the variety.
And it’s in this courtship, in this constant finding,
I’ve been living for 4 years.
When I spoke of Ericeira, I thought I knew It.
But no, not even close.
It is much more wonderful,
richer and dazzling than I ever imagined.
Always treat us with the intense and unique smell of the Sea.
That I breathe in deeply whenever I get here.
And what I feel is, first of all, this connection with Nature.
To the indomitable and powerful nature that is evinced here.
The Sunset is incredible here.
They are those spectacles that make us stop the car just to look
and we know from the outset that the World, Life, is much more than
we can see with our eyes.
It gives us that certainty.
Ericeira is a World to discover.
