“Ericeira through the eyes of Orlando Morais” is open to the public at Rua Eduardo Burnay, right in the center of the village, being complemented with an itinerary, disseminated through Mafra & Ericeira Experience mobile application, which allows you to discover today’s Ericeira, compared to the 20th century’s Ericeira, which was portrayed by the painter.

52 oil paintings were selected for this exhibition

Evoking the work of this artist who portrayed the beauty of Ericeira, the Municipality of Mafra organized this exhibition, for which 52 oil paintings were selected, present in the book catalog “Orlando Morais – O Pintor da Ericeira”.

Through this photo gallery, you can appreciate several of the paintings present in this exhibition, through which landscapes, the sea and details of the picturesque architecture (whether facades, doors and windows, streets or alleys of Ericeira) are portrayed, in which blue and white merge, giving his paintings great luminosity.
