“50 Great Spots of Portugal – The Best of Instagram”, a recently released book, includes Ericeira and Mafra among the points of greatest interest of our country.
The book published by Prime Books in November presents, through a selection of photographs published on the social network Instagram (about 140, between Portuguese and international authors), the fifty best spots in Portugal. And the images selected by João Perdigão (from the hub @super_portugal) bring together small textbooks, in Portuguese and also in English, in order to become more attractive to the foreign public that visits us.
From the north to the south, which also includes the archipelagos of Azores and Madeira, images of Ericeira and Mafra show up, both by Nuno Vicente, a photographer from Ericeira, who’s also responsible for the book’s descriptions.
The photograph related to Mafra brings the National Palace to prominence, whose celebrations of the 300 years began in November. The image of Ericeira, which can be seen in this article, is accompanied by the following caption: “Elected by several publications as a place to visit for its peculiarity and the beauty of the houses overlooking the sea, it was classified as a World Surf Reserve by the international organization Save The Waves Coalition.”
The book “50 Great Spots of Portugal” is available in the Portuguese bookstores, and can be purchased in Ericeira at the Cyber Club-Video (Praça da República, n. 11) and at Loja da Cristina, located at n. 19 Rua 5 de Outubro.
