After a month of storms and gigantic swells, which only allowed wave runners to slide their boards on Praia dos Pescadores, the beginning of March brought Ericeira good ocean conditions.
Well-formed waves and little wind spread surfers, bodyboarders and practitioners of other wave sports through the waves of the World Surfing Reserve and beyond, along the coast of this region blessed by Nature.
In this fantastic picture captured by Sérgio Oliveira, Paulo Costa (better known as ‘Paulinho’), one of the best bodyboarders ever in Portugal – and a representative of the “old school” who remains in great shape – is chased by Coxos’ foamball, halfway through the tube.
