Rally das Camélias’ organisation was again forced to postpone the date for the famous car race due to the pandemic context that we are going through.
After the last dates for one of the most emblematic events of national motorsport have been set for February 19 and 20 – initially it would be disputed between November 30 and December 1st 2020 –, the race is now set for May.
this race will be a candidate for the South Rally Championship
The 2020 edition of this competition will speed up again on the roads of Sintra, Cascais and Mafra on May 14 and 15, if the panorama regarding the Covid-19 pandemic allows it.
The organization says that this decision had the agreement of the three municipalities involved, the respective local health authorities and the FPAK (Portuguese Federation of Motorsport and Karting).
This race will be a candidate for the South Rally Championship.
