Portugal and Ericeira were not always considered election destinations by the surfing community, but over time the country and the town were made known by explorers and specialized media.
Nowadays, both the rectangle on the Atlantic coast or Ericeira are one of the most sought places globally to practice sports that have the waves as a common element.
In this video, which consists of an episode of “The Endless Winter”, the British Mark ‘Egor’ Harris and Nicolau Von Rupp go visit Semente, where Nick Uricchio (born in California) talks about his experience since his board factory’s opening in Ribamar, and also about the evolution of surfing in Portugal and Ericeira over the past decades.
