The “best waves of the world” and “the best surf session ever” are common hyperboles in parking lot’s conversations. Surfing has this magic element of giving different and unique sensations at every new day, which take us to talk exaggeratedly about out last surf session as if it was the best ever. Well, we actually believe that the best session is the next one.
When we saw this video for the first time, we did it with high expectations. Indeed its title says “best surf ever Ericeira”, so we just started watering with the ideia. It’s not the best surf ever (that’s a myth, doesn’t exist), but it is undoubtedly a demonstration of amazing sessions with classical waves and riders such as José Gregório, Miguel Fortes, Paulo do Bairro, Eric Rebiere and many others.
This time of the year the waves (and space in the sea) are scarce, so we just keep the fire on through high performance footage.
