The British magazine Monocle visited Portugal from North to South last Summer and recently published a Travel Guide of the country with the best places to visit. Among the selected destinations is Ericeira, which is dubbed a must-go for surfers and seafood lovers.
The publication highlights the versatility of waves in Ericeira’s 10km coastal line. The guide even compares Ericeira to other privileged waves’ destinations in Portugal, like Peniche and Nazaré, which have the same amount of different waves that Ericeira offers.
The seafood gastronomy and the conceptual stores are a couple of other strong highlights found by Monocle in Ericeira. The Travel Guide features Magic Quiver Surf&Deli, a store dedicated to the surfing culture, the restaurant O Farol and Casa Gama, famous for its butter cookies and pies.
