To the 50 artistic installations announced at the end of August, 31 new theatres, cinemas and other cultural facilities were added that are now part of the Portuguese Theaters and Cinemas Network (RTCP). Of the 89 entities that submitted their applications for accreditation, 81 were selected, including Beatriz Costa Municipal Auditorium, in Mafra.

Beatriz Costa Municipal Auditorium is now part of the Portuguese Theaters and Cinemas Network (RTCP), following the approval of the presented accreditation application. The Municipality of Mafra may, therefore, apply for support for cultural programming to be attributed by the Directorate-General for the Arts, which will correspond, at most, to half of its budget, the remainder being provided by the local authority.

these artistic entities will work in a network in favor of a quality and diversified cultural offer

This way, conditions are created to increase cultural demand and offer, increase co-productions between entities, strengthen the involvement of cultural agents and local artists, implement good practices in the digital transition, inclusion and accessibility, as well as develop an agenda articulated with other cultural facilities that, on a national scale, are part of the RTCP.

From North to South of the country, these artistic entities will work in a network in favor of quality and a diversified cultural offer.
