The Winter downpours leave the sea with brownish hues, especially at the river mouths. For most people, this might not seem like the most appealing scenario, but for surfers the most important thing is catching good waves.
That’s exactly what happened in this session filmed by the Ericeira Raw Surf channel. Although the conditions weren’t dreamy, windows of opportunity opened up for barrels and maneuvers on those hollow lefts and rights.
The protagonists of the video, João Maria Mendonça and Martim Carrasco, took on the challenge and were handsomely rewarded.
