Samantha Smith is the founder of Ocean Hope, a movement based in Ericeira that is at the forefront of combating coastal pollution and that recently celebrated the first anniversary since its first beach cleaning.
At the end of 2019, this sea urchin village native (where she grew up, surfing since she was 7 years old) was one of the speakers invited by Cascais Summit, an event that offers visibility to 9th grade and high school students, projecting through sharing inspiring and impactful information.
In this lecture Samantha gathers awareness and challenges the young people present in the auditorium, showing that we can all make a big difference regarding the health of the oceans and coastal ecosystems.
