Photography:<\/strong> DR<\/p>\n <\/p>\n Sumol Summer Fest, taking place on the Ericeira Camping Park between the 26th and 28th of June, will have as a new feature an area dedicated to dub, a music genre with roots in reggae. This space will be curated by the Blackboard Jungle Soundsystem<\/a> collective and will have the presence of MCs and Selectors who will share their music through a pyramid of speakers with a power of 30 thousand watts.<\/p>\n Blackboard Jungle Soundsystem are a collective from Rouen, northeast France, founded in 1994 which is dedicated to the promotion of the jamaican culture, mostly reggae, through the RC2 radio station<\/a>. The collective will be responsible for the curatorship of the artists that will be a part of the Dubzone.<\/p>\n Among these are Jah Tubby’s<\/a>\u00a0Soundsystem, \u00a0<\/em> who first started on the north of London on the 70’s and which will perform with Macky Banton, one of the collective’s members; Sentinel Sound<\/a>, a reggae group from Stuttgart, Germany; and the portuguese groups\u00a0Jah Version<\/a>\u00a0and Delmighty Sounds<\/a>.<\/p>\n Sumol Summer Fest starts on the 26th of June with the Welcome Party\u00a0<\/em> of the festival. On the 27th, The tickets are already on sale for 65\u20ac (2 days, with camping), 50\u20ac (2 days, no camping) and 40\u20ac (daily ticket).<\/p>\n Sumol Summer Fest, Ericeira’s current main music event, was distinguished as the Best Medium Sized Festival <\/a>\u00a0last year by the Portugal Festival Awards.<\/p>\n
\nBomba Est\u00e9reo,\u00a0<\/strong>Ky-Mani Marley, Protoje and John Butler Trio<\/a>\u00a0will perform and on the 28th it will be the turn of Anthony B,\u00a0Lutan Fyah,\u00a0Perfect Giddimani,\u00a0D8 and Cidade Negra<\/a> to came up on stage.<\/p>\n
