The Wander Yogi festival will return at the beginning of October for its 5th edition. Created to celebrate the tradition of yoga in its fullest sense (movement, breath, philosophy, community and connection), it reflects a deep respect for the origins of this practice and a commitment to sharing it with authenticity and integrity.<\/p>\n

From 1 to 4 October, Casa Pa\u00e7o d’Ilhas \u2014 in Santo Isidoro, just a few minutes from Ericeira \u2014 will host this annual event, which in 2026 holds the theme “The Invisible Thread \u2014 What Connects Us All.”<\/p>\n

Retreat Days: 1\u20134 October \/ Festival Days: 2\u20133 October<\/em><\/p><\/blockquote>\n

Founded by Carlotta Demaria, the festival was born from the belief that yoga, when practised with depth and intention, has the power to transform not only individuals but also communities. Over the years, Wander Yogi has brought together experienced teachers from across Europe and beyond, creating a space where practice meets reflection, community and the natural beauty of Portugal’s Atlantic coast.<\/p>\n

This year’s theme, “The Invisible Thread \u2014 What Connects Us All,” especially relevant: yoga means union, a concept that has never been more necessary. In times of division and uncertainty, we need to be reminded of what we share. Yoga has always understood that beneath our differences \u2014 our stories, struggles and borders \u2014 there is something that connects us all. Common ground. A shared humanity. A breath that belongs to no one and to everyone.<\/p>\n

At the beginning of October, Wander Yogi presents an invitation to (re)union, exploring this connection. On the mat and beyond it. Within ourselves and with one another. Because the practice of yoga is not only personal. At its core, it is an act of peace. And precisely because what is practised on the mat should be lived off it, this year’s edition will host a solidarity collection in support of humanitarian aid for families affected by the war in Gaza and Lebanon.<\/p>\n

The entire programme will take place at Casa Pa\u00e7o d’Ilhas, a historic property just 45 minutes from Lisbon. Surrounded by nature, with gardens, a swimming pool and outdoor practice spaces, it is the perfect setting for four days of yoga, community and connection.<\/p>\n

Wander Yogi 2026 offers two participation options:<\/p>\n
