Photography:<\/strong> ARR<\/p>\n <\/p>\n S\u00e3o Louren\u00e7o Beach has been awarded the 1st Prize on the \u201cMost Accessible Beach 2025\u201d [\u201cPraia + Acess\u00edvel 2025\u201d] award in the category of Coastal Beaches, consolidating this seaside area\u2014part of the Ericeira World Surfing Reserve\u2014as a national example that the beach and the sea should be a right for everyone.<\/p>\n The ceremony, part of the BTL \u2013 Lisbon Travel Market, and organized by the National Institute for Rehabilitation (INR, I.P.), the Portuguese Environment Agency (APA), and Turismo de Portugal, celebrated bathing areas that raise the bar in implementing best practices in accessibility and equal opportunities for people with reduced mobility.<\/p>\n S\u00e3o Louren\u00e7o Beach puts Mafra in the spotlight on the inclusive tourism map<\/em><\/p><\/blockquote>\n The award was presented to the Mayor of Mafra, Hugo Moreira Lu\u00eds, in a ceremony attended by the Chair of the INR Board, S\u00f3nia Esperto; the President of the APA, Pimenta Machado; the Vice-President of Turismo de Portugal, Teresa Monteiro; and the representative of IACESS, Helena Vitorino.<\/p>\n With this distinction, S\u00e3o Louren\u00e7o places Mafra in a prominent position within the inclusive tourism circuit.
