{"id":63996,"date":"2026-01-14T00:00:17","date_gmt":"2026-01-14T00:00:17","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.ericeiramag.pt\/?p=63996\/"},"modified":"2026-01-08T15:09:28","modified_gmt":"2026-01-08T15:09:28","slug":"in-2026-there-will-be-no-new-local-accommodation-units-in-ericeira","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.ericeiramag.pt\/en\/in-2026-there-will-be-no-new-local-accommodation-units-in-ericeira\/","title":{"rendered":"In 2026 there will be no new Local Accommodation units in Ericeira"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Photography:<\/strong> AZUL<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>In 2026, no new Local Accommodation (AL) establishments will open in Ericeira.<\/p>\n<p>This decision, according to the Mafra Municipal Council (CMM), results from the \u201climited interest shown in the 2025 application process\u201d.<\/p>\n<blockquote><p><em>since 2023, there has been a decrease in the number of new AL establishment registrations in Ericeira<\/em><\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>In June 2025, the CMM launched a procedure for 43 new slots, to be allocated by lottery, for new AL registrations.
