Largo das Ribas square in Ericeira will once again be the main stage for the Festivities in Honor of Our Lady of Good Voyage, patroness of fishermen, taking place from August 8th to 17th. The official agenda for this celebration\u2014full of music, tradition, and faith\u2014has already been revealed.<\/p>\n

The program kicks off on Friday at 10 PM with performances by Bombocas and Sekmintendes at 11:30 PM. On Saturday the 9th, Teias d\u2019Aranha and Renato Pereira take the stage at 10 PM and 11:30 PM, respectively. On Sunday 10th, the fun continues with Banda Raska at 10 PM.<\/p>\n

a celebration where tradition and entertainment go hand in hand, paying tribute to the patroness of fishermen<\/em><\/p><\/blockquote>\n

Midweek, on Thursday the 14th, it will be Sergio Rossi and the band Nova Onda entertaining the crowd at 10 PM and 10:30 PM. Friday, August 15th, brings Emanuel Moura at 10 PM and the duo BMV \u2013 Bet\u00e3o and Miguel Vital at 11:30 PM \u2014 familiar faces from the TV show \u201cO Pre\u00e7o Certo\u201d (\u201cThe Price is Right\u201d).<\/p>\n

On Saturday 16th, the celebrations take on an even more symbolic and emotional tone. At 12 noon, swimming competitions will be held at Praia dos Pescadores, and at 9:30 PM the traditional Sea Procession \u2014 the most anticipated moment of the Festivities \u2014 will take place, followed by a fireworks display at 12:30 AM and a performance by Portug\u2019Alma at 12:45 AM.<\/p>\n

The final day of the Festivities (Sunday, August 17th) begins bright and early with a parade by the Banda Filarm\u00f3nica da Ericeira (Ericeira Philharmonic Band) at 8:45 AM, followed by a solemn street procession through the village at 4 PM. The evening will close with performances by On Every String (a Dire Straits tribute band) and Pedro Oliveira, starting at 10 PM.<\/p>\n

In addition to the musical lineup and maritime activities, the festival also features an extensive religious program: daily Masses, visits of the image of Our Lady of Good Voyage to various local institutions, the traditional Solemn Procession, and devotional moments that keep the bond between the community and their patroness alive.<\/p>\n

Visitors can also enjoy the traditional salt and sand carpet, local gastronomy at food stalls, fun for the whole family, and much more \u2014 always with the sea as backdrop and faith as spiritual guide.<\/p>\n
