Recently, Nooma Studios launched the photographic project \u201cMy Body, My Choice\u201d, aimed at supporting women\u2019s freedom and using photography as a form of expression.<\/p>\n

This project serves as both a celebration and a reflection on the complexity of femininity, addressing topics such as the right to abortion, vulnerability and the fear of aging, the search for ideal perfection as a mother, daughter, woman and professional, and above all the universal feeling of \u201cnot being enough\u201d.<\/p>\n

Through powerful imagery, the project invites the audience to engage in a personal interpretation, enabling the stories and emotions to resonate with each individual.<\/p>\n

Nele, one of the women who participated in the photoshoot described her experience: “Being part of this project was a very profound experience. Meeting and gathering with so many women was incredibly empowering. I was reminded again of how powerful we are when we stand together. When one woman rises, we all rise.\u201d<\/p>\n

Originally created from scratch without any particular expectations, Creative Director and Photographer In\u00eas Lusio shares that this project has achieved far greater results than initially anticipated. Now, the focus extends beyond the final images. The creative process, collaboration with women, and the feedback resulting from this experience have become the true highlights. Women of varying ages and life stories, who had never met before, united in this challenge, facing wind, rain, and their own personal fears.<\/p>\n

From this union, the project emerged as a tribute to individual strength but also as a testimony to the idea that women, together, are incredibly strong, making this experience truly transformative.<\/p>\n

Mara, another participant in the initiative, adds: “I feel that those of us who can must be the voice for those who cannot. For those who had no voice. I feel humanity is now being forced to listen to more female voices. And these voices are angry. More women are dying because they cannot express themselves in any other way. But the echo of their deaths is like a gigantic scream that reverberates across the world. We are angry, but we are changing with pure and gentle love for one another, and together, we are creating a new, much better world\u201d.<\/p>\n

what began as an idea has become a movement<\/em><\/p><\/blockquote>\n

The goal of this collaboration is to take the message further: to ensure that this project becomes a source of inspiration, strength and empowerment for women everywhere.<\/p>\n

D\u00e9bora, another face from the photoshoot, expresses her pride: “I\u2019m proud to find people along my path who are walking in the same direction as I am. I\u2019m happy to be the face, body, and soul of a project advocating for women\u2019s rights and to have my baby as part of it. Knowing that she represents the youngest generation present motivated me even more, because I want to pass on this perspective and these values to her\u201d.<\/p>\n
